2013 Something Sunday 4: Yoga Mat Strap

I was travelling this week, and thus, didn't make anything new. But thankfully I found a few un-shared project from Christmas time! 

I made this yoga mat strap for my dad (it looks slightly more manly without the purple mat haha). He does tons of yoga and so when I was thinking of what hand-made item I could make for him it was the first thing that came to mind!

It was surprisingly hard to make considering it looks pretty simple. But it was a fun challenge and I was happy with the outcome. The only thing I would do differently is to make a larger casing for the elastic so it could go on and off the mat easier.
